Beaded Bracelets With Meaning
Increasingly in recent years in several Italian cities began to talk about the case refugees. " A plain, in Turin, where three years of refugees and refugee groups are supporting a hard fight against the local government for the recognition of their rights of citizenship (and resist now occupied two houses, via Bologna and course Peschiera where about 300 Citizens from Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia and Eritrea), where a Mass this winter tired of standing of different institutions refugees occupied a state collided hard with the police, to Milan after the evacuation of a building occupied by a Bruzzano hundreds of people from the horn of 'Africa, the only response of the City was the "guarantee" of a few months of dorm.; in Rieti, where groups of young Eritreans opposed the expiry of the protection projects in which they were entered.
Italy:
- signatory of the Geneva Convention of 1951 on refugees
, the cornerstone of international refugee law
- remains the only EU country without an organic law on asylum, with serious consequences on the status of refugees, holders of humanitarian protection and asylum seekers. Meanwhile
Unitamente a all this, there are also enormous responsibility of local levels of governance, incapable of guaranteeing the minimum rights of citizenship: in Milan the response has been repression and marginalization of the needs expressed by the occupation of Bruzzano;
in Turin before the games politicians from the palace of the junta
(Councillor for Social Policies-in-Marco Borgione head) and the Prefecture all designed to evade its responsibilities and then the real violence and intimidation by the police.
And so every time the exasperation, fatigue, disappointment and anger especially young people who took refuge door * to raise his head, breaking compatibility in which the aura of political sense municipality wants them confined, the media talking about the "case", they discover that to stay in the middle of a street without any right granted an immigrant does not have to be an illegal immigrant and national and local institutions proved their hypocrisy dressed up with a mixture not-will and inability to give concrete answers to basic needs that these men and women pose.
We do not care to distinguish between those who have a document and who does not, aware that the crisis is affecting all institutions of racism and all the same, and the residence permit or asylum rights are only paper.
Let's see when the Piazza del 23 / 5 in Milan can be a first step of reconstruction instances of struggle and liberation from exploitation and racism towards migrants. Inside this parade, but we try to build a piece that tries to hold together, to talk in different languages \u200b\u200bof origin men and women refugees, leaders of those struggles in the territories but all speak the same language, which is a dignity denied that wants to emerge with full force.

At h.16.30 part from the gardens of Porta Venezia, the procession of refugees with the Committee in support to political refugees, the route passes the inner ring road and reaches to the prefecture.

At the same time, the police denied - the representatives of the "Committee Milanese support to political refugees" - the authorization to a procession passing through the center of Milan. Prohibition reasoned risks to public order that are the very refugees who have given so much trouble in recent days much to raise calls "citizens, Commercial Union, for the Regional Trade."
We believe both of these actions extremely serious and provocative.
On the one hand they threaten refugees who have “osato rivendicare” i propri diritti, mettendoli di fronte al rischi della loro espulsione.
In questo so it is anticipated that the Directive Maroni wants to hide the protests and make less and less feasible the right to demonstrate.
short-sighted and dangerous choices that will not solve any conflict, making it increasingly difficult to deal with the contradiction of a big city like Milan.
We will continue to support the refugees and with them we will continue to lead the protest in the streets of Milan.
will not be our prohibitions to stop!
We appeal to all / i le / people / s Milan to show us and not to be left alone in the request for refugee rights and dignity.

Political refugees Eritrea, Ethiopia, Somali and Sudanese who had occupied the house in Via Senigallia, now are back on the streets of Milan. A march from Central Station to Porta Venezia said that the rights and dignity can not be undercut, as happens every day in the dorms clubs that are offered by the City of Milan as the only solution. The refugees have fled the dorms on Thursday and started the permanent mobilization. Free Dunk Tank Clip Art

How To Paint A Valleyball
Read the press release:
The committee in support of refugees with several stems from the fact, associations and individuals to create an environment in which the active solidarity, as the forces of cooperation, is the watchword.
For too long the city of Milan has distinguished itself for its policies toward political refugees, explicitly out of any desire to find solutions and ensure their rights and dignity. Experiences the 'have shown: Via Adda, Via Lecco, establishment Fs Porta Romana and then Via Senigallia.
can not believe that the lives of hundreds of people is treated as a matter of public policy, only at emergenziale, così come il Comune di Milano affronta la questione da anni, tramite dormitori con posti limitati come se i diritti fossero a numero chiuso, solo per pochi.
: il nostro intento è quello di proseguire this battle continuously, once and for all, in a city where there is much need, why is the dignity of all

P ochi days ago in Milan broke for the umpteenth time "If the refugees" : an abandoned building in Bruzzano is occupied by hundreds of people from d by the horn 'Africa. The response of the City of Milan is the total lack of social integration policies, the only proposal effective after days of protest a few months of dorm . It is not the first time that Milan was forced to deal with this situation, periodically presents the "problem of refugees" via Lecco , the airport to Porta Romana Via Senigallia and now ... because the city administration continues for years to deny the rights that have been established by the Geneva Convention and that our country should be respected. How can the shelter be activated only after days of struggle on the part of refugees? How can the European Union allocates € million to secure these rights and are spent only in times of need and not with ongoing programs? A moment of reflection and study on Italian and international policies towards migrants, because the rights are guaranteed immediately.

WHO 'HONEST
This morning, 04/24/2009, the delegation of the City of Milan arrived at 9:30 in the morning and brought us the regularization for the dorm (center), we have told them that the adjustment did not interest us, because we agreed to stay in the dorms for 15 days just to talk and continue to discuss away from the streets, and we asked the delegation if it was possible to stay in dormitories and continue our protest. We were told to leave the dormitories have told us that we do not have the right to continue to protest in the dorms.
So now we are still in the streets of Milan. We feel more than free in the dorms, dormitory for us because it means a big prison.

Inglese Versione:
WHO IS HONEST
As everybody knows yesterday 23/04/09:, first they tried to took us by force from the garden (City Park of Porta Venezia). They asked who we are and were we come from after they told us to give our ID Card and permission of stay, so they could check it up in the Questura. And they took up our photograph, then later we had a little meeting with the Commun of Milan. After a long discussion we agreed to solve the problem in 15 days through dialogue.
Today morning, 24/04/09, the delegation of Commun of Milan arrived at 9:30 AM so they brought the regulation of the dormitare (centro di accoglienza): we told them that the regulation doesn't concern to us, because we went to stay at the dormitare for dialogue for 15 days to continue our discussion from sleeping outside from the street, and we ask the delegation if there is a possibility to stay in the dormitare to continue our demonstration. They fired us from the dormitare: they told us we don't have the right to continue our demonstration in the dormitare.
So now we are in the street of Milan again. We feel free more than in the dormitare, because dormitare means big prison to us.

Bmi Of Females In Countries Age
Rifugiati di Milano We are refugees from Eritrea, Ethiopia, Sudan and Somalia. We are in a difficult situation, we are asking for our rights. Today they kicked us like animals. They don't want to do anything for us: we will fight until the end of our life. Now they used violence and in the same time there is an equal and opposite reaction but we don't want to use force, but if they continue the same action we are ready to do the same thing. The italian government don't want to respect our rights, at the same time they don't want us to live in their country. They don't have the right to kill us in silence with their inhuman action. If there is the real humanity in Europe we are asking our rights now.

Ancora Once the municipality denies the rights fondamenteli of these people, who accepted but only for a "trial period" of 15 days, to assess the validity of the agreement.
Wednesday, April 23, 2009 Refugees announced a march, and within hours hundreds of people including refugees, migrants and residents of the city gather in Corso Venezia. The parade winds through the downtown streets shouting "
Yes we can," "We Want Our Rights" and "No border, no nation, stop deportation" , culminating in a garrison in Piazza San Babila. From there has been a delegation of refugees going to the Foundation of the Bells in Corso Magenta, home to the offices of the European Commission. Once back, the delegation announced that since the EU already allocates millions of euro, the Commission stated that it could not do anything but the pressures on the City of Milan, is not responsible for the lack of the house, rights, and work. Around 20, after telling everyone the news, the refugees decided to accept the proposal of a dormitory provided they can stay together and that the community is not divided. When it seems an agreement with the special bus transport of ATM (with grilles on the windows) arrive anche due camionette della polizia e la notizia che un dormitorio "comune" non c'è e che uomini e donne saranno divisi.
All'altezza dell'uscita di Cormano-Bresso
Sabato 18 Aprile 2009 Nel corso di un'assemblea e i rifugiati decidono to continue employment: Work has begun to secure the building and equip it for residential purposes. Thanks to the solidarity of authority and many came the first aid
Friday, April 17, 2009 In Friday morning about 200 refugees and asylum seekers Eritreans, Somalis, Sudanese and Ethiopians
occupy an abandoned building in Bruzzano , near Milan. The building is a former residence 7-story abandoned. With this occupation migrants claim their right to have a home and dignity.
