In collaboration with Caritas , MarineoSolidale adheres to the Food Bank Network, an NGO on the national territory.
The food distributed twice a month come from the offerings of the faithful, the donations from the Food Bank and the supply of private benefactors.
MarineoSolidale is working with its volunteers for three years in this work to support families in need.
The economic crisis and endemic underdevelopment put a strain on the poorer sections of our community who are struggling to make ends meet. Coming from a disadvantaged family is likely to find themselves in a condition of their home three times higher than others.
Even the few foods (about 300 kg per month) that we give to separated women, people with pensions to a minimum, the unemployed, are a sign of solidarity and closeness of the 'Association to the toil of everyday life of larger and larger segments of our brothers.
